Keeping It Current

Deadlines and eligibility rules change every year. I do my best to keep listings accurate, but you should always double-check details on the official scholarship, program, or testing organization's own website before applying, especially deadlines. If you spot something outdated, please let me know using the form at the bottom of any page.

Accessibility

I work to meet WCAG accessibility guidelines so this site is usable for everyone, including students using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please tell me . I want to fix it.

Why I Built Guam Scholars

Throughout high school, I spent a lot of time searching for scholarships, programs, competitions, and other opportunities. I found some great ones, but I also learned about many valuable opportunities too late, often only after they had already passed or appeared in the news after the deadline. It was difficult to find one reliable place that collected information relevant to students on Guam.

I created Guam Scholars as the resource I wish I had when I was in high school: one place to find scholarships, programs, competitions, and other information that can be difficult to discover or easy to learn about too late. I hope it helps students find opportunities that genuinely interest them early enough to apply, feel less lost about where to look, and see that opportunities are everywhere, even for students on Guam.

I check listings against official provider pages and update them when I can, but students should always confirm current eligibility, deadlines, and requirements directly with the organization offering the opportunity. If you are a student, parent, or other visitor and notice something that needs updating, or know of an opportunity that should be included, please feel free to send me a message through the form on this site.
