Guam Scholars is an independent educational resource for students, families, and other visitors looking for scholarships, programs, competitions, college information, and related opportunities. I respect your privacy and aim to collect as little information as possible.
You can use the contact form at the bottom of the site to suggest an opportunity, report an update, or send a question. When you submit the form, I receive the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, and message. Name is optional. Email is required so I can reply when a response is appropriate.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form. This includes Social Security numbers, student identification numbers, account passwords, financial information, medical information, application documents, or anything else you would not want sent by ordinary email.
I use messages only to review suggestions, correct information, consider opportunities for the site, and respond when appropriate. I may not be able to respond personally to every submission. Only I can access the messages I receive through the form. I keep messages only for as long as I decide they are needed to review, respond to, or address the submission, then I delete them.
Guam Scholars is hosted through GitHub Pages. The contact form is processed by FormSubmit. These services may process information needed to host the site or deliver your form message under their own terms and privacy practices. This notice does not control their independent practices. You can review the GitHub Privacy Statement and FormSubmit Privacy Policy for more information.
I do not operate user accounts, analytics, social-media widgets, or embedded media on Guam Scholars. Guam Scholars does not currently use advertising or advertising trackers. If I add advertising or another service that changes how visitor information is handled, I will update this Privacy Notice before or when that change takes effect.
The site contains links to third-party organizations and resources. If you follow one of those links, that organization’s privacy practices apply to its own website.
If you want me to correct or delete a message you previously sent through the form, please use the same website form. Include the email address you used and the approximate date of your submission so I can locate it. I will make a reasonable effort to address the request when I can.
I may update this notice as Guam Scholars changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
